Blind to my scars and deaf to my screams I know I’m running out of time
And now I feel them digging in they’ve come to take my blood with them hot needles they insert again to bleed me out

Dead birds cant sing no more
Hollow trees can’t hold their weight
Once soil, now dust, I blow away, exhale, precipitate my fate
And now I feel them marching up and down my spine
Peeling skin tooth and nail, I am what you inhale if it gets their money done

I remember the days before my rape free with no noose around my neck
Yet the brutal child born of my assault comes to drain my blood and snap my neck
I scream, I shake, earthquake
Live to fight my death with my remaining strength
But their boots still drive metal into my skin
In the end I’m gone, nothing salvaged or saved

Wars over my insides tied to another sea of graves
Fat hands that shake, cut deals, spill blood, they don’t feel what I anticipate
And now I feel them marching up and down my spine
Claim the divine justifies the sick crime of extinguishing life
